Aged English Cheddar

Food Snob Aged English Cheddar comes from a traditional West Country Farmhouse Cheddar maker, idyllically located in the rolling Dorset Downs, overlooking the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. It is made to methods and recipes that date back many hundreds of years. Using the highest quality milk, sourced from local, free-range dairy herds that graze the lush pastures of the surrounding countryside.

The cheese is made by traditional methods that go back generations, include the turning and cheddaring of the curd by hand and to a recipe that is specific to our cheese maker. Each block of cheese is matured for up to 12 months until it achieves its desired level of maturity.

Food Snob Aged English Cheddar is packaged in a distinctive black wax coating. It has a creamy and smooth texture with a deliciously savoury flavour.

Our gorgeous new Cheddar is best enjoyed any way that takes your fancy! We like it on a cracker with an English chutney, but it’s also just as fabulous baked into a decadent cheddar scone. We’ve also heard that it is particularly well suited to a late-night pairing with your favourite red wine in front of a fire.
